Anybody think Syracuse -2 is a bit low? Why is Gtown still getting respect from Vegas? They only have THREE wins since Jan 6th. Two against Miami, one against St John's. The two worst teams in the Big East!

What am I missing!?!? Injuries, suspensions?Syracuse has lost a few games lately, but they're losing to Providence, UConn, etc. Meanwhile, Gtown is losing to Va Tech and St John's.

I know this is a rivalry game, but Cuse/Gtown is nowhere near the rivalry is used to be.

Jan 26 @ Providence L 50-65

This is a big rivalry game. Syracuse has not been playing well themselves. I think Georgetown gets big win here after embarrassing loss to St. John's.

I didn't mention it, but when I saw Syracuse -2 last night, it 100% reminded me of the Cuse @ Gtown game last year.

It was relatively late in the season, Cuse was Top 25, Gtown was mediocre. Carmelo Anthony was hitting his groove, Cuse was probably -1 or -2.

Anyway, everybody jumped on Syracuse. They were down double-digits in the 2nd half. I think they were down double-digits with under 10 minutes! Then Carmelo and Syracuse went nuts, ended up getting the cover.

Today, Hakim Warrick was the man. Scored 14 points in the 2nd half, including 4-4 FTs down the stretch.

And then Gerry Mac hit the 3-pointer, giving Cuse the cover instead of the push.

It has been said many times. If you gamble long enough, the bad beats and amazing covers will balance out.
